AlphaJect 4000 is a mineral oil adjuvanted injectable vaccine developed from an inactivated bacterial culture of Aeromonas Salmonicida, Vibrio anguillarum serovar I, Vibrio anguillarum serovar II and Vibrio salmonicida emulsified in a mineral oil base adjuvant. It contains formaldehyde solution as an inactivating agent.

Safety Precautions

To avoid self-injection, wear protective gloves and equip vaccination syringes with a needle guard. As an alternative, automated injection equipment is suggested.

Self-injection can cause hypersensitivity and/or repository sterile abscesses.

The introduction of foreign substances into the body can result in serious allergic reactions. It is advisable to keep an effective antidote to anaphylactic shock available at all times.

In case of an accident, go at once to the nearest physician or emergency hospital (with a copy of this safety information).

Accidental self-injection with this oil-based product can cause intense vascular spasm. Expert, prompt, surgical attention is required and may necessitate early incision and irrigation of the injected area, especially where there is involvement of finger pulp or tendon.
