Section III - HEALTH & FIRST AID INFORMATION

INHALATION: No evidence of adverse effects. If overexposure does occur remove patient to fresh air and call physician.

INGESTION: No effects in laboratory animals except at massive doses for prolonged periods of time when central nervous system depression, slight liver and kidney changes and increased serum enzyme levels were noted; rabbits exhibited some signs of hemolysis. Large amounts in the diet of mice during pregnancy effected litter size and survivorship; smaller amounts had no effect. If patient is conscious and able to swallow, have them drink plenty of water or milk to dilute the chemical. Do NOT give sodium bicarbonate, fruit juices or vinegar. Immediately call physician. NEVER give anything by mouth if patient is unconscious or having convulsions.

EYE CONTACT: Undiluted chemical is an acute eye irritant. Diluted chemical (approx. 2%) is not an acute eye irritant. In case of eye contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while keeping eyelids separated. Do not let patient rub eyes. Call physician immediately.

SKIN CONTACT: Skin irritant when undiluted. Diluted (approx 10%) chemical showed no evidence of phototoxcity, sensitization, allergy or irritation in humans. In case of skin contact, immediately flush skin with plenty of water while removing contaminated clothing. Call physician. Wash contaminated clothing thoroughly before re-use.
