Section III - HEALTH & FIRST AID INFORMATION

INHALATION: Assumed harmful. Remove patient from exposure. If irritation persists, seek medical advice.

INGESTION: Assumed harmful. Seek medical attention immediately

EYE CONTACT: Irritates and stains. Rinse eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention.

SKIN CONTACT: Stains, may irritate. Wash with plenty of soap and water. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.

OTHER HEALTH INFORMATION: LD50 = 1250 mg/kg (oral, rat)

To the best of our knowledge, the toxicological properties of methylene blue have not been thoroughly investigated.

CONDITIONS & MATERIALS TO AVOID: Strong oxidizers
