Section II - HAZARDOUS INGREDIENTS

Section III - HEALTH & FIRST AID INFORMATION

INHALATION: May be harmful, may irritate. Remove patient to fresh air. If breathing becomes difficult, seek medical attention.

INGESTION: Assumed harmful. Wash mouth out with water, give water to drink. Seek medical attention.

EYE CONTACT: May irritate, stains. Rinse thoroughly for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical advice.

SKIN CONTACT: May irritate, may stain, may be harmful through skin absorption. Wash thoroughly with plenty of water. If irritation persists, seek medical advice.

OTHER HEALTH INFORMATION: To the best of our knowledge, the toxicological properties of this product have not been thoroughly investigated. It is therefore a good safety practice to treat this material with care, avoiding exposure to it.

APPEARANCE AND ODOUR: Dark blue-violet liquid

SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES & PRECAUTIONS: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing to prevent contact with this material.

UNUSUAL FIRE & EXPLOSION HAZARDS: Emits acrid fumes.

 

Section VI - REACTIVITY

STABILITY: Stable.

HAZARDOUS POLYMERIZATION: Will not occur.

HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS: Acrid fumes.

 

Section VII - EMPLOYEE PROTECTION

CONTROL MEASURES: Use only in a well ventilated area.

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: Wear dust mask if mist is anticipated.

PROTECTIVE CLOTHING: Wear gloves.

EYE PROTECTION: Use safety goggles.

 

Section VIII - ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS: Immediately shut off all sources of ignition.

SPILL OR LEAK PRECAUTIONS: Wear respirator, goggles and gloves. Soak up spill with an absorbent material, transfer to a salvage container and hold for disposal. Mop up spill area with plenty of water to remove any remaining residue.

WASTE DISPOSAL: Seek the advice of a professional disposal service.
