For Immediate Release
Staff changes at Syndel
Syndel International of Vancouver recently
announced that after six years with the company Paul Casey has decided to
pursue a new career in the medical supply industry. According to Casey,
his decision to leave was difficult, and was based on an opportunity for
further professional development. Says Casey, "Working with Syndel
and me people in this industry has been enriching. More than anything it
is the people I will miss."
In related news, Syndel's General Manager
Dr. Jim Brackett has agreed to take a leave of absence to help launch the
newly created BC Centre for Aquatic Health Sciences in Campbell River,
BC.
Dr. Brackett will lead the new organization, which is devoted to aquatic
health, welfare and food safety.
As part of the reorganization at Syndel,
Dr. Jim Powell has been appointed as acting General Manager. Powell will
also assume responsibilities for Market and Business Development and
Operations in addition to Product Development.
Monty Little,
President of Syndel,
noted,
"Paul's shoes will be hard to fill, but the rest of the gang at
Syndel is extremely talented. As well, the installation of the BC CAHS is
too important not to have Dr. Brackett's involvement at this time. With
the recent addition of Andrew McCool, the look at Syndel might change a
bit but will continue to be unique. I am confident that we will continue
to add value to Syndel's wide range of products."
Jim Brackett will be available for contacts
at BC CAHS, while Paul Casey can be contacted at pcasey@heine.com, through
Syndel, or on his same cell phone number, 604-868-5414
