PEROX-AID

PEROX-AID™ is exclusively distributed in Canada by Syndel International Inc. for aquaculture

PEROX-AID™ is effective in controlling fungi on salmonid eggs. 

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATIONMETHOD.
  • For prevention of fungal infections on salmonid eggs, apply PEROX-AID™ at a concentration of 500 ppm for 15 minutes every other day.
  • For treatment of existing fungal infections on salmonid eggs, apply PEROX-AID™ at a concentration of 500 ppm for 60 minutes every other day.
  • Prior to use on fish eggs dilute PEROX-AID™ to 500 ppm based on 100% active ingredient.
  • Calculations for the amount of PEROX-AID™ to be added to the water inflow into the egg holding apparatus is dependent on the rate of water flow. A water medicator may be used to perform this function. Use 1.43 mL of PEROX-AID™ per liter of water treated.

  • PEROX-AID™ is available as a liquid in 208 litre drums and 19 litre pails
COMPOSITION
  • Active Ingredient, hydrogen peroxide, 35%
STABILITY & STORAGE
  • Perox-Aid™ is stabilized for increased product life
    Perox-Aid™ should be stored in a properly vented container
  • Perox-Aid™ should be stored on flame retardant pallets and away from incompatible or flammable materials.
  • Perox-Aid™ should be stored near a water source for diluting product in case of a spill
  • Perox-Aid™ should be stored out of the sun and away from heat sparks or flames
  • Do not add any other product to the drum and rinse with water before discarding the empty container
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
  • Perox-Aid™ is a strong oxidizer - handle with care to avoid spillage. If spillage occurs, immediately flush with plenty of water.
  • Do not expose to excessive heat or an open flame
  • Wear safety glasses and impervious gloves when handling this product
