Disinfection Foot Mats - Ideal For use with Virkon^® Aquatic solutions.

Use for disinfecting foot wear at fish hatcheries, poultry hatcheries, zoos, seal ife centers, agricultural farms, laboratories or offices.

Our Disinfection Foot Mats are designed to be used with the disinfectant Virkon^® Aquatic (See the Virkon^® Aquatic product page for more information).  When used with the disinfecting solution, these mats will disinfect a person's footwear before entering a controlled area.

The unique design reduces the evaporation of the solution and also limits the potential contamination of the disinfectant. These mats feature a permeable upper fabric which enables disinfection of shoes, boots, wheels, animal hooves/paws or anything else that makes contact with the mat. The bottom and sides are made of non-permeable material to prevent leakage or leaching of the disinfection solution. Simply pour disinfecting solution onto the top to fill.

Once Virkon^® Aquatic powder is mixed into solution, the liquid is NOT classified as an eye or skin irritant.  This fact, along with a wide range of efficacy, makes Virkon^® Aquatic an ideal product for use in disinfecting foot wear. See the Virkon^® Aquatic product page for more information.

Full Size Disinfection Foot Mat - Each mat measures 84 by 84 cm (33 X 33 inches) and is 3 cm (1.2 inches) deep.  It will hold approximately 12 litres (2.65 gallons) of Virkon^® Aquatic disinfecting solution.

Mini Disinfection Foot Mat - This mat is a lower cost, lighter weight version of the Full Size Disinfection mat.  Each MINI MAT measures approximately 45 X 45 cm (18 X 18 inches) and is 2.5 cm (1 inch) deep.  It will hold approximately 3.5 litres (0.9 gallons) of disinfecting solution.

Use Virkon^® Aquatic at a 1 - 2% solution. Do not use chlorine, iodine or similar type disinfectants in these mats as they may damage the mat.
